Euro Commercials is pleased to have supplied ten new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 315 Chassis L3 RWD vehicles to First Defence Traffic Management, supporting the continued growth of the South Wales-based traffic management specialist.
Operating from Porth, First Defence Traffic Management has built a strong reputation for delivering professional traffic management solutions across South Wales and the surrounding regions. With a team bringing more than 30 years of industry experience, the company plays a vital role in helping contractors, local authorities and utility providers maintain safe, compliant and efficient work environments on the road network.
The latest delivery sees First Defence add ten fully equipped Traffic Management Vehicles to its fleet, further strengthening its operational capabilities. Each vehicle is based on the versatile and dependable Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 315 Chassis L3 Rear-Wheel Drive platform, chosen for its durability, performance and suitability for demanding roadside operations.
The specialist bodies were expertly built in partnership with Neath Coach Builders, providing a complete body work solution for traffic management requirements. The finished vehicles have been tailored to meet the practical needs of traffic management crews, ensuring they are fully equipped to support a wide range of projects while prioritising both workforce and public safety.
Traffic management is an essential service that helps keep road users moving safely while enabling critical infrastructure, utility and construction works to be carried out efficiently. The new Sprinter fleet will allow First Defence to continue delivering high standards of service to customers throughout the region while supporting the safe management of worksites and road networks.
As part of the partnership, all ten vehicles will be maintained and serviced by Euro Commercials, ensuring maximum uptime and ongoing support throughout the lifespan of the fleet. With access to Mercedes-Benz-trained technicians and genuine parts, First Defence can be confident that its vehicles will remain in peak operating condition.

Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer’s lender Mercedes-Benz Finance, linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.
Mercedes-Benz Finance may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
