Objectives

Ensure vehicles stored are maintained effectively whilst on site and made available for Pre Delivery Inspection/Third Party work.
Ensure efficient movement of vehicles at all times.
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness of all vehicles that are presented to internal and external customers at all times.

Reporting to:

The Sales driver reports to the Sales Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Load vehicles for Pre Delivery Inspections and Third Party attendance.
Accept delivery of vehicles, ensuring vehicles are correctly signed in and keys tagged appropriately.
Maintain site map.
Ensure correct storage of vehicles, carrying out relevant checks in line with process.
To collect and deliver from external suppliers, and body shops.
Efficient delivery of vehicles to customers including any necessary handover.
General cleanliness of vehicles in conjunction with the valeter and order of the yard.
Sole responsibility for producing valid receipts to cover expenses, to the accounts department.
Timely planning of all deliveries and collections.
Ensure that the company vehicle is maintained in line with both company and legal requirements.
Full inspection of vehicles upon collection, ensuring that any mechanical problems or accident damage is immediately reported and on a delivery note.
Responsible for own set of trade plates, to be kept with sales drivers at all times.
Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the Mercedes-Benz experience is delivered to all contacts at all times.
Operate and utilise vehicle transporter safely and efficiently for the collection, delivery, loading and unloading of vehicles in accordance with company procedures and road safety regulations.
Ensure tachograph compliance in line with regulations and company policy.
