At Euro Commercials, great service begins with great people. At our Cardiff site, Senior Service Advisor Lauren Higgs plays an important role in supporting customers and helping keep commercial vehicles on the road across South Wales.
Although Lauren joined Euro Commercials just a few months ago, she already brings a decade of experience in the motor industry to the role. Her career began at Vauxhall Newport, where she first developed her passion for the automotive sector and working directly with customers. She later expanded her experience working with **Maxus vehicles at BP Rolls, gaining further insight into the commercial vehicle market before deciding it was the right time to move into a main dealer environment.
“After gaining experience with Maxus, it felt like a natural step to move to a main dealer,” Lauren explains.
Today, Lauren’s role as Senior Service Advisor is fast-paced and varied. When asked what her day-to-day responsibilities involve, she laughs: “What doesn’t it involve!?” From coordinating bookings and liaising with technicians to keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicles, no two days are ever quite the same.
For Lauren, however, the most rewarding part of the role is simple — the customer.
Providing a welcoming and supportive experience is central to her approach. She prides herself on being there to support customers with a friendly smile, helping ensure every visit to the service department is as smooth as possible.
Communication is also something she believes is key when customers bring their vehicles in for service or repair.
“Keeping the customer informed is really important,” Lauren says.
“I try to be as proactive as I can in a reactive business, making sure customers always know what’s happening with their vehicle.”
Working within the busy 24-hour workshop at Euro Commercials Cardiff, Lauren is part of a team dedicated to helping operators minimise downtime and keep their vehicles moving. Looking ahead, her focus is on continuing to build strong relationships with customers while supporting the team in day-to-day operations.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys taking time to relax and recharge. Whether it’s holidays in the sunshine, listening to music, reading, or enjoying a well-earned bubble bath, she values the balance between a busy working life and time to unwind.
Lauren’s enthusiasm, experience and dedication to customer care have already made her a valued member of the Euro Commercials Cardiff team, helping ensure customers receive the high standard of aftersales support they expect.
