Mercedes-Benz Trucks has introduced the most flexible and advanced eTrucks to date—now available for UK customers. The new eActros 400 and eActros 600 set new benchmarks for battery-electric heavy goods vehicles, offering greater choice, robust performance, advanced safety, and tailored digital support for the demands of UK trucking and logistics.
From short regional hauls to long-distance routes across Britain, the second-generation eActros portfolio provides over 40 possible vehicle combinations. UK operators can select from two or three highly durable lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs, choosing between the comfort-focused ProCabin or the proven L-cab with easy, low entry. With a host of new wheelbase and axle options—including popular 4x2 and 6x2 layouts—eActros trucks fit virtually any transport task or body application on UK roads.
The eActros 400, with two battery packs (approx. 414 kWh), is perfect for national distribution and medium-range trips, delivering a range of up to 480 km on a single charge and payloads of about 25 tonnes—matching the benchmarks set by leading diesel HGVs. Need even more distance? The eActros 600, with three battery packs (approx. 621 kWh), offers up to 500 km range and features the larger, more aerodynamic ProCabin for enhanced comfort during multi-day journeys across the UK and Europe.
Both models support ultra-fast DC charging—reaching 80% capacity in under an hour—enabling rapid turnaround whether at base or en route. And with Mercedes-Benz TruckCharge and expanding UK charging networks, fleets can count on seamless eTruck integration.
UK drivers benefit from Mercedes-Benz’s focus on safety and comfort. The new ProCabin reduces noise, enhances aerodynamics, and boasts luxuries like premium sleeping options, seat heating, ambient lighting, and the advanced Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2. Intuitive digital controls, voice command, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto ensure that every journey is smarter and less stressful.
Safety comes standard: features include MirrorCam digital mirrors, Active Brake Assist, Attention Assist, and Sideguard Assist to protect drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians in busy UK urban environments. The eActros meets and exceeds new EU and UK safety standards, setting the bar for electric truck safety.
With Mercedes-Benz Trucks Uptime, Fleetboard, and the My TruckPoint customer portal, UK fleets gain real-time visibility, smart charge and route management, and predictive maintenance—all designed to keep vehicles operating profitably and with minimal downtime. Support packages cover repair, servicing, and even battery replacement, giving operators confidence up to 1,200,000 km or 96 months of service.
Switching to eActros means UK businesses can cut lifecycle CO₂ emissions by up to 80% with renewable energy, reducing costs thanks to lower maintenance and energy use. The eActros range also benefits from tailored service contracts, specialist finance, and dedicated support via the UK dealer network, helping customers electrify sustainably with maximum confidence.
