Euro Commercials Welcomes Jay Giovnilli as New Business Development Executive

Euro Commercials is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Giovnilli, our new Business Development Executive, who brings over 25 years of experience in the motor trade to the team. With a background spanning dealership management and regional finance management, Jay’s expertise and customer-first mindset make him a valuable addition as we continue supporting businesses across South Wales.

BDE Jay

Jay was drawn to Euro Commercials after hearing consistently positive feedback about the culture behind the scenes.
“I’d been told that the business encourages people to use their own skills to succeed, while also being supported by strong management,” he explained. “That balance is important to me.”

In his new role, Jay is excited to be back out in the field—meeting customers face-to-face and helping them get the right vehicles and the right deals for their operations.
“I really enjoy being field-based. It’s rewarding to go out and benefit businesses with a great product, great deals, and the chance to build lasting relationships.”

This customer focus is central to his approach. Jay believes the key to successful partnerships is understanding each business and delivering solutions that genuinely work for them.

“It’s about recognising their needs and supplying vehicles in a cost- and time-effective way that suits them—not us.”

Jay has already been impressed by what sets Euro Commercials apart.

“The service levels here are exceptional,” he said. “Not just during the purchase, but the aftersales support is better than I’ve seen before.”

Over the coming months, Jay’s priority is to get to know the businesses he will be supporting, learn how they operate, and develop effective strategies tailored to their needs. He’s also looking forward to forging new relationships across the region as he settles into the role.

With the commercial vehicle industry evolving, Jay is particularly interested in the shift towards electric fleets and how different sectors will adapt in the coming years. He sees his role as helping customers plan for the future in a way that’s both practical and cost-effective.

What motivates Jay most is the opportunity to meet people, understand their challenges, and provide a level of service that keeps them coming back.

“Getting in front of people and learning about them helps me deliver the best support possible.”

Outside of work, Jay is heavily involved with his local rugby club, where he spends most Saturdays during the season—a commitment that reflects his team spirit both professionally and personally.

Euro Commercials is excited to have Jay on board and looks forward to the positive impact he will bring to our customers and communities.
