Euro Commercials at Truckfest Wales 2025

Euro Commercials had a fantastic time at Truckfest Wales 2025, held on 23rd – 24th August 2025, where the sun was shining, and the atmosphere was buzzing. It was a brilliant opportunity to catch up with customers old and new while showcasing the very best of Mercedes-Benz trucks.

For those who may not know, Truckfest is one of the UK’s biggest celebrations of the trucking industry – a family-friendly event that combines impressive truck displays, live entertainment, and the chance for operators, drivers, and enthusiasts to come together. This was our second year attending Truckfest Wales, and once again it proved to be a fantastic event for all ages.

One of the highlights was having the Actros L Procabin displayed at the main ring, drawing lots of attention throughout the weekend.

Our very own Matthew Gray and Nathan Notley delivered an insightful speech, introducing the Procabin and discussing the eActros 600(International Truck Of The Year 2025) as a forward-looking electric truck option. Their presentation sparked plenty of conversations about the future of sustainable transport.

We were also proud to display a number of loaned trucks on the Mercedes-Benz stand – and we couldn’t have done it without the generous support of our customers:

Keedwell

A long-standing customer of Euro Commercials South West, R.T.Keedwellhas built its fleet to be almost entirely Mercedes-Benz. They are strong advocates of the Mercedes-Benz product and remain loyal supporters of their local dealership.

Having one of their trucks on our stand was a great way to showcase that partnership and highlight the reliability and trust that underpins their operations.

Penygroes Concrete Products Ltd

An established customer of our Swansea depot,Penygroes Concrete Products Ltdmakes full use of our extended opening hours to keep their operations moving efficiently. Their fleet continues to grow with the latest addition – an Arocs 3246 L ENA, complete with a Neath Coach Builders dropside body and Hiab Crane.

Having one of their vehicles on the stand at Truckfest Wales was a great way to celebrate their continued investment in Mercedes-Benz and the strong relationship they have with our Swansea team.

FSEW

Euro Commercials and Freight Systems Express (Wales) Ltd have a long-standing relationship with a great understanding on the importance of the carbon reduction goals of the international freight forwarder.

With it’s class leading distance capability, battery technology and superior build quality, FSEW were keen to use our eActros 600 product to further expand and improve their existing zero emission fleet. Knowing the tested features, they were the first UK customer order on this new addition to the portfolio and the very first registered in the UK.

We were pleased to showcase their striking colours on the stand at the Welsh Truckfest Show in Builth Wells, in which we also did the handover for their 4^th vehicle.

We have seen the partnership grow further with the introduction of this new generation all electric Actros and are looking forward to helping reduce more of the fleet in the same way.

A big thank you to each of these companies for trusting us with their vehicles and helping to make our stand stand out.

Alongside the trucks, we were proud to have a strong Euro Commercials team presence at the show. Our Mercedes-Benz and Maxus van sales executives joined the event to represent our van offering, while our Mobile Fleet Manager and Group Parts Manager were also on hand to meet customers and share insights. And of course, none of it would have come together without our marketing team, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organise and deliver such a successful event.

Truckfest is never just about the vehicles – it’s about the people too. Our team worked hard both in preparation and on the ground to make the weekend such a success, and it was fantastic to share the experience together.
