Objectives

  • To supervise, control and motivate staff.
  • To ensure the efficient operation of the parts department to achieve parts growth

Reporting to

Parts supervisor will report to the General Manager

Responsibilities

  • To ensure all customers are served in a professional and efficient manner to gain retention.
  • To maximise profitability in accordance with parts budget
  • To expand on line sales via eBay to ensure maximum profit for the Company and maximum customer service is achieved
  • To ensure stock levels are maintained to a high standard.
  • To maintain a good working environment for all staff and motivate by good leadership.
  • To communicate effectively with staff, customers and suppliers.
  • To train and develop staff to a satisfactory level of performance
  • Ensure parts personnel answer the phone within 3 rings and introduce according to the company welcome
  • To ensure security of all company property and take appropriate security measures as required.
  • To complete appraisals with staff and liaise with management on all training issues.
  • To participate and control perpetual stock checking achieving 3 full checks a year and investigating into stocking differences.
  • To ensure Service 24hr vans are stock checked and all MBUK stock requirements are maintained.
  • To maintain a high degree of tidiness in the parts reception and warehouse.
  • Manage and coordinate parts delivery drivers
  • Ensure all cash invoices are cleared daily
  • To promote the sales of manufacturers parts and stimulate the parts business through workshop outlets achieving monthly sales targets
