Objectives

  • To deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner. To ensure roadside repairs are completed in a safe location / working environment.
  • To attend wherever possible vehicle within the manufactures attendance times and to conduct work in compliance with service levels agreed with the manufacturer.

  • To complete all service work and defined maintenance work of the utmost quality and efficiency within manufacturers time schedules
  • Supply a professional performance in all aspects of work activities to make an essential contribution to the value and retention of customers
  • Ability to carry out comprehensive diagnosis and repairs of malfunctions
  • To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.
  • Document the results of diagnosis/repairs/service/safety inspections.

Reporting to:

  • Service Manager

​Responsibilities​​

  • Performance of all repair and maintenance work according to the manufacturers standards/instructions within an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensure all manufacturer SLA’s are met to include:
  • Roadside Repair Rate
  • Resolution Time Rate
  • Retail Adherence Rate
  • Average Attendance Time
  • Ensure the Service 24 Hr van is maintained and consistently in a roadworthy condition being kept clean and presentable at all times.
  • Adherence of all health & safety aspects of roadside repair
  • Ensure that parts stocks are replenished.
  • Care of customers vehicles
  • All visual inspections, adjustment operations, replacement of worn/defective components
  • Retrofitting of accessories and detachable body components
  • Knowledge of deviations and extraordinary wear occurrences.
  • Self-reliant performance of simple repairs
  • Complete extensive assembly work and repair operations (e.g. major units)
  • Receive work instructions from job card/workshop controller.
  • Report any additional work or parts required
  • Ensure that special tools and equipment are kept in good order and any problems are immediately notified for action

Key Performance Measures

  • Completion of all service work of the utmost quality within manufacturers time schedules
  • Achievement of all Service 24 Hr. documentation and meet all ‘SLA’ criteria.
  • Ability to carry out comprehensive diagnosis and repairs of malfunctions
